BEING A WOMAN, WHAT MAKES YOU POWERFUL IN THIS COMMUNITY OR IN GENERAL, OUR SOCIETY?

"I would say it’s more of like, my ability to speak up for those, especially back home, through media such as photography and film. So that’s what I do but in all honestly, its just being a woman itself is empowering and there is no other what’s for it."

TALK TO ME ABOUT YOUR FUTURE PLANS AND DREAMS...

"What I plan to do is start more of a movement back home because back home, women are really suppressed in the country and we only recently had the rights to vote. I just want women to step up and just tell their own stories. I don’t know how I’m going to do that but that’s one of the few things I hope to achieve is to help young women to speak up about things. It’s not just shame upon your family, or society if you speak up about something no one talks about."

DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL, SOMEONE YOU LOOK UP TO?

"I have my grandmother and mom because they are the two people inspired me to be the person that I am today because they can speak up and say anything. Even though my grandmother had to go through a lot for it but she’s taught me so much in terms of the fact that its fine to be not okay. You can speak up, you can do whatever you want in this world and you don’t need to be afraid just because you’re not as strong and not good enough… same goes for my mom."

IF YOU WERE TO BE PORTRAYED IN A PORTRAIT OF YOURSELF, HOW DO YOU SEE IT?

"She’s amazing and creative and I was wish I was half as artistic and a wonderful person as she is."
